Note: This version of the TFT Touch Shield has been discontinued. The v2 replacement uses fewer pins, supports Mega and Leonardo boards, and includes a built-in touchscreen controller.

The 2.8" TFT Touch Shield plugs directly into an Arduino UNO (or compatible) and provides a bright, full-colour display with a resistive touchscreen and onboard MicroSD card socket. Fully assembled and ready to use — no wiring or soldering required.

With 240×320 resolution and 18-bit colour (262,000 shades), the display is driven by a built-in controller with RAM buffering for minimal microcontroller workload. The shield uses 12 pins for the display and 13 if the MicroSD card is used.
