This 2-pin JST SM free-hanging cable assembly provides a secure, latching, polarised connection that can't be plugged in backwards. One wire is marked with a white dashed line for identification. The connector is commonly used with EL wire, EL panels, and EL tape.

This is the male connector — required to connect EL wire to an inverter. It mates with the JST SM female connector.
