This compact 2×2 AA battery holder connects four AA batteries in series, providing a nominal 6 V DC output (alkaline) or 4.8 V DC (rechargeable NiMH). The premium jumper header wires plug directly into a breadboard — no stripping or soldering required for prototyping.

The square 2×2 configuration keeps the holder compact. Using rechargeable NiMH batteries gives approximately 5.2 V fully charged to 4.4 V discharged, making it a convenient match for 5 V projects.
