50-pin 0.5mm FFC / FPC Extender

This 50-pin FFC/FPC extender lets you connect two 50-pin 0.5mm pitch flat cables end-to-end to extend their total length. Simply plug a cable into each side of the board and you have a longer cable run — useful when the stock cable isn't quite long enough to reach.

The extender has two flip-lock FFC connectors mounted back-to-back. Pin 1 on one connector maps to pin 50 on the other, so you must use Type A cables (contacts on the same side) for correct pin-to-pin continuity.

Key Features

  • 50-Pin, 0.5mm Pitch – Matches common FFC/FPC cable specifications
  • End-to-End Extension – Join two cables to create a longer run
  • Flip-Lock Connectors – Pry the ears open, insert cable contacts-up, snap closed for a secure connection
  • Compact PCB – Minimal size added to your cable routing

Specifications

  • Pins: 50
  • Pitch: 0.5mm
  • Cable Type Required: Type A (contacts on same side)
  • Pin Mapping: Pin 1 ↔ Pin 50 (reversed — requires Type A cable)
Note: Pin 1 of one cable connects to pin 50 of the other. You must use Type A FFC cables (contacts on the same side of the cable at both ends) for correct continuity.
