The Adafruit ISM330DHCX is an industrial-quality 6-DoF IMU from ST, combining a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope on a single silicon die for synchronised measurements. With an extended gyroscope range of ±4000°/s and an industrial temperature range of −40°C to +105°C, it delivers exceptional performance where standard IMUs fall short.
Built-in smart features include tap detection, activity recognition, a pedometer/step counter, and a programmable finite state machine with machine learning core for basic gesture recognition. The breakout board includes voltage regulation and level shifting for 3.3V or 5V compatibility, plus STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors for solderless I2C wiring.
