Adafruit LPS22 Pressure Sensor - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - LPS22HB
The Adafruit LPS22 Pressure Sensor Breakout features the ST LPS22HB — a tiny absolute barometric pressure sensor capable of measuring atmospheric pressure from 260 to 1260 hPa. Use it for weather monitoring, altitude estimation, or any application where precise air pressure data matters.
Despite its miniature 2×2 mm package, the LPS22 delivers 24-bit pressure measurements at up to 75 Hz, with accuracy within 0.1 hPa after one-point calibration. This STEMMA QT breakout adds level shifting and voltage regulation, making it compatible with both 3.3 V and 5 V systems — no soldering required with STEMMA QT/Qwiic cables.
Key Features
- Wide Pressure Range – 260 to 1260 hPa absolute pressure measurement
- 24-Bit Resolution – High-precision pressure data at up to 75 Hz
- ±0.1 hPa Accuracy – After one-point calibration (±1 hPa before calibration)
- Ultra-Compact Sensor – 2×2 mm LPS22HB, one of the smallest pressure sensors available
- STEMMA QT / Qwiic – Solderless I2C connectors for easy plug-and-play wiring
- 3.3 V and 5 V Compatible – Onboard voltage regulator and level shifting
- Arduino & CircuitPython Libraries – Ready-to-use libraries with example code
Ideal For
- Weather stations and barometric pressure monitoring
- Altitude estimation and indoor navigation
- Wearable devices and smartwatch projects
- Environmental sensing and data logging
