The Adafruit Micro-Lipo Charger is a tiny, easy-to-use charger for single-cell 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer and lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Simply plug a USB-C cable into any USB power source and connect your battery via the JST connector — two LEDs show charging status at a glance (red = charging, green = complete).

Charging uses a three-stage process: preconditioning, constant-current fast charge, then constant-voltage trickle charge to keep the battery topped up. The default 100 mA charge rate works safely with any battery size and USB port. For larger batteries (500 mAh+), solder the on-board jumper to increase the charge current to 500 mA.
