Adafruit NeoPixel UV LED Strip with 32 LED/m - White PCB - 1M
Roll out the black light! The Adafruit NeoPixel UV LED Strip packs 32 individually addressable ultraviolet LEDs per metre onto a flexible white PCB with a weatherproof sheathing. Each LED package contains three UV diodes controlled via the standard NeoPixel (WS2812) protocol — just set all three channels to the same value to control brightness.
Each order is a single 1-metre strip. Cut lines every 3 cm (1 LED) let you trim to any length with wire cutters. For a higher-density option, see the 60 LED/m UV strip.
Key Features
- 32 UV LEDs per Metre – Individually addressable ultraviolet NeoPixels on a flexible white PCB
- Weatherproof Sheathing – Silicone sleeve for splash resistance and protection
- Standard NeoPixel Protocol – Compatible with any WS2812 driver (Adafruit NeoPixel library, FastLED, etc.)
- Cuttable – Cut lines every 3 cm (1 LED) for custom lengths
- JST SM Connectors – 2-pin JST SM connector on each end for easy wiring
- 5 mm × 5 mm Packages – Three UV diodes per package, controlled via R, G, and B channels
How to Control
The R, G, and B channels each drive one of the three UV diodes inside each package. For uniform UV output, set all three channels to the same value — from (0, 0, 0) (off) to (255, 255, 255) (full brightness).
Power Requirements
- Supply voltage: 5 V DC (do not exceed 6 V or the entire strip may be destroyed)
- A 5V 2A supply can drive 1+ metres depending on brightness
Wiring
- Strips come with 2-pin JST SM connectors on each end
- For additional connections, pick up JST SM plug and receptacle cables
- Can also solder directly to the 0.1″ copper pads at cut points
Ideal For
- Black light and UV effects
- Fluorescent material illumination
- Halloween and party decorations
- Art installations and stage lighting
- UV-curing applications
Package Contents
- 1× Adafruit NeoPixel UV LED Strip – 32 LED/m, white PCB, 1 metre with weatherproof sheathing
