The Adafruit Proto Plate for BeagleBone is a clear acrylic mounting plate that holds your BeagleBone or BeagleBone Black alongside a half-sized breadboard for tidy prototyping. The 3 mm thick laser-cut plate features alignment engravings and a cutout for the BeagleBone Black's HDMI port cable.

The board can be placed in either orientation so you can position the P8 or P9 header closer to the breadboard, depending on your project needs. Four rubber bumpers on the underside keep the plate stable on your desk.
