Air Quality Sensor (Qwiic) - SGP30
The SGP30 is an indoor air quality sensor with an I2C interface that outputs equivalent CO2 (eCO2) in ppm and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) in ppb. It also provides raw measurement values for ethanol and H2. This Qwiic-compatible breakout makes connection simple — just plug in and go with no soldering required.
Unlike the CCS811 which requires a 48-hour burn-in and 20-minute run-in, the SGP30 is ready to provide readings after just 15 seconds. Its continuous baseline compensation algorithm maintains accuracy over time with low long-term drift. Readings can be further refined by interfacing with an external humidity sensor for humidity compensation.
Key Features
- eCO2 Output – Equivalent CO2 concentration in ppm
