AM2315 - Encased I2C Temperature/Humidity Sensor

The AM2315 is an I2C temperature and humidity sensor housed in a rugged enclosure with a mounting bracket — a significant upgrade over bare PCB-mounted sensors for real-world installations. Inside, a capacitive humidity sensor and thermistor are paired with a small microcontroller that handles calibration and outputs clean, ready-to-use data over I2C.

The enclosed design offers much better protection against wind, rain, and environmental exposure than typical breakout board sensors, while the I2C interface eliminates the timing-critical protocols required by DHT-series sensors. Simply connect the four colour-coded wires and you're ready to go.
