The Arduino Leonardo is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4 — Arduino's first board to use a single microcontroller with built-in USB. This eliminates the need for a secondary USB chip, making the board simpler and more affordable while enabling it to emulate a keyboard, mouse, and other USB HID devices.

With 20 digital I/O pins, 12 analog inputs, 7 PWM channels, and a micro USB connection, the Leonardo is ready for interactive projects straight out of the box. This version comes with all headers pre-soldered for easy breadboard and shield use.
