It can then be used to create your own Lamp design around it.  Take advantage of your woodworking skills, 3D design or laser cutting to make an enclosure for your lights. 
The kit contains

  • 8 x Bight white LEDs
  • 10 x 100 ohm resistors
  • 1 x rocker switch
  • 1 x USB cable
  • 2 x lengths of wire
