The IDG-1215 is an integrated dual-axis angular rate sensor (gyroscope) from InvenSense. It uses a vibrating dual-mass bulk silicon design to sense rotation about the X and Y axes, providing high cross-axis isolation and vibration rejection in a compact package.

All required electronics are integrated on-chip, including amplifiers, low-pass filters, and EEPROM for factory calibration. The sensor is factory trimmed, eliminating the need for end-user calibration — making it ready for use straight out of the package.
