The ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 is Espressif's first Wi-Fi 6 module, integrating 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3 (LE), and IEEE 802.15.4 (Thread/Zigbee) on a single chip. Built around a high-performance 32-bit RISC-V core clocked up to 160 MHz plus a low-power RISC-V core at 20 MHz, it offers strong processing capability with excellent power efficiency.
This variant features 16 MB of flash memory and an on-board PCB antenna. With support for Thread 1.3, Zigbee 3.0, and Matter, it's well-suited for smart home devices that need to interoperate across ecosystems. The Wi-Fi 6 radio supports OFDMA and MU-MIMO for reliable performance in congested wireless environments.
