Fermion: BMP390L Digital Barometric Pressure Sensor (Breakout)
A high-precision digital barometric pressure sensor breakout based on the Bosch BMP390L. Designed for industrial-grade applications, it delivers exceptional temperature stability, low drift, and ultra-low power consumption — making it ideal for indoor positioning, altitude tracking, and environmental monitoring where GPS signals may not be available.
With an absolute accuracy deviation of less than 50 Pa and relative accuracy of ±3 Pa (equivalent to approximately 25 cm altitude), the BMP390L significantly outperforms its predecessors. Long-term stability drift of only ±16 Pa per year ensures reliable readings over extended deployments. Extended availability is guaranteed up to 10 years.
Key Features
- High Precision – Absolute accuracy <50 Pa, relative accuracy ±3 Pa (~25 cm altitude)
- Excellent Long-Term Stability – ±16 Pa/year drift
- Ultra-Low Power – 54 µA sleep, 357–650 µA in measurement mode
- Low Noise – Less than 0.02 Pa noise impact
- Dual Interface – I2C and SPI communication
- Selectable I2C Address – 0x77 (default) or 0x76 (SDO to GND)
