
Fermion: DS3232 Precise RTC (Breakout)
A high-precision real-time clock (RTC) breakout board based on the DS3232 chip, featuring an integrated crystal resonator and temperature compensator. The DS3232 maintains accuracy of ±3.5ppm (±0.3 seconds/day) across the full operating range of -40°C to +85°C, making it ideal for applications that demand reliable, precise timekeeping.
The DS3232 integrates 236 bytes of battery-backed SRAM for data storage at extremely low power consumption, and maintains accurate timekeeping when main power is interrupted via a backup battery input. The module communicates over I2C and is compatible with 3.3V and 5V controllers.
