Gravity: I2C High Temperature Sensor (K-Type, 800℃)

This Gravity I2C high-temperature sensor pairs a signal amplification module (MAX31855K) with a stainless steel sheathed K-type thermocouple probe for measuring temperatures up to 800 °C. The module converts the thermocouple's millivolt signal to a 14-bit digital reading over I²C, with cold-junction compensation built in.

The Gravity I²C interface makes wiring simple — just connect power, ground, SDA, and SCL to any 3.3 V or 5 V microcontroller. The module supports the full K-type range of −270 to 1,372 °C (with a compatible probe), and the included probe is rated to 800 °C.

Key Features

  • MAX31855K Chip – 14-bit, 0.25 °C resolution digital temperature measurement
  • Wide Temperature Range – Module supports −270 to 1,372 °C; included probe rated to 800 °C
  • Gravity I²C Interface – Simple connection to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other controllers
