Gravity IO Expansion Shield for LattePanda
The Gravity IO Expansion Shield breaks out all GPIO pins from the LattePanda into Gravity-compatible 3-pin colour-coded connectors, providing plug-and-play access to hundreds of Gravity sensors and modules. Each pin includes VCC and GND, eliminating the need for separate power wiring.
The shield also adds a flexible power solution — use a 7–12 V supply via the 2.1 mm DC jack or 2-pin terminal to power both the LattePanda and connected devices, with up to 5 A available at the 5 V output. An 8×8 prototyping pad area is included for custom circuitry.
Key Features
- Gravity 3-Pin Interface – Colour-coded connectors compatible with the full Gravity sensor range
- 14 Digital + 6 Analogue Ports – Full GPIO breakout with VCC and GND on each pin
- 2× I²C Ports – For connecting I²C sensors and modules
- Flexible Power Input – 7–12 V via DC 2.1 mm jack or 2-pin screw terminal
- High Current Output – Up to 5 A at 5 V, 1 A at 3.3 V
- Prototyping Area – 8×8 general-purpose 2.54 mm pads
- ICSP Port – For direct programming access
