The Intel Edison Breakout Kit is a compact development platform featuring a dual-core Intel Atom CPU at 500 MHz and a 32-bit Intel Quark microcontroller at 100 MHz. It includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 GB RAM, and 4 GB eMMC flash on a module slightly larger than a postage stamp. This breakout board is designed for non-Arduino users with a minimalist set of features.
