The LV-EZ0 from MaxBotix is a compact ultrasonic rangefinder providing short to long-range detection. It can detect objects from 0 to 254 inches (6.45 m) and provides calibrated range information from 6 inches out to 254 inches with 1-inch resolution. Objects closer than 6 inches are reported as 6 inches.

The sensor offers three interface output formats, making it easy to integrate with Arduino and other microcontrollers.
