
Maxbotix Ultrasonic Rangefinder - LV-EZ4 [LV-EZ4]
The LV-EZ4 from MaxBotix is a compact ultrasonic rangefinder that detects objects from 0 to 254 inches (6.45 metres), with calibrated range output from 6 to 254 inches at 1-inch resolution. Objects closer than 6 inches are reported as 6 inches. The EZ4 features the narrowest beam angle in the LV-MaxSonar-EZ series, making it well suited for applications that require reduced side-lobe sensitivity and tighter detection areas.
Three output formats are provided simultaneously: pulse width (PWM), analog voltage (Vcc/512 per inch), and RS232-compatible serial (9600 baud), giving you flexibility to interface with virtually any microcontroller or data acquisition system.
