MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cable

Product image 1

MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cable

The MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cable extends the reference pin on the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor, allowing you to place the reference electrode on a separate part of the body. This is useful when the sensor's built-in reference pin cannot reach a suitable location, such as a bony portion of the elbow or a non-adjacent muscle near the targeted muscle group.

Simply insert the pin into its housing and attach a biomedical sensor pad to the electrode snap. When ready, stick the reference cable's snap pin to the desired reference point on the body.

Key Features

  • Reference Pin Extension – Allows remote placement of the reference electrode away from the sensor
  • Snap-On Electrode Connection – Compatible with standard biomedical sensor pads
  • MyoWare 2.0 Compatible – Designed for the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor ecosystem
  • Easy Installation – Pin-and-housing connection, no soldering required
Note: The reference electrode socket on the sensor remains active even with this cable inserted. To disable the socket, cut the jumper trace on the top side of the sensor. Re-enable it by shorting the jumper pads with solder.

Ideal For

  • EMG (electromyography) projects requiring flexible electrode placement
  • Muscle sensing applications where the built-in reference pin is too close to the target muscle
  • Biomedical and wearable prototyping
