This is a long flexible yellow cable. It is called EL wire or electroluminescent wire. Once being charged with appropriate voltage, it can emit bright yellow light and the wire will not be heated. It is similar to a long thin tube full of fluorecent liquid. In the one end, it is terminated with a JST PH connector.
