NeoPixel Stick - 8 x 5050 RGBW LEDs - Natural White - ~4500K

A stick of 8 individually addressable RGBW NeoPixel LEDs (Natural White, ~4500 K). Each 5050-size LED contains four elements — red, green, blue, and a dedicated white LED with yellow phosphor — delivering rich colours plus true white light with 32-bit colour control (8-bit PWM per channel).

The stick features mounting holes and a chainable design. Connect the output of one stick to the input of another, all controlled from a single microcontroller pin. Each LED has ~18 mA constant-current drive for consistent colour even with varying voltage. Power with 5 V DC (4–7 V works).

Key Features

  • 8× RGBW LEDs – RGB + dedicated white (Natural White ~4500 K)
  • 32-Bit Colour – 8-bit PWM per channel (4 channels per LED)
  • Individually Addressable – Driver chip inside each LED
  • Chainable – Connect multiple sticks from a single data pin
  • Constant-Current Drive – ~18 mA per LED for consistent output
  • Mounting Holes – Easy to secure in your project

Specifications

  • LEDs: 8× WS2812-compatible RGBW 5050
  • White Colour Temperature: ~4500 K (Natural White)
  • Operating Voltage: 5 V DC (4–7 V)
  • Data Protocol: 800 KHz single-wire (NeoPixel)
  • PWM Rate: ~400 Hz
Note: RGBW NeoPixels require a library with RGBW support. Using a standard RGB NeoPixel library will produce incorrect results. The Adafruit NeoPixel library supports RGBW. A real-time microcontroller (Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM) running at 8 MHz or faster is required.

Package Contents

  • 1× NeoPixel Stick with 8× RGBW LEDs (assembled and tested)
