Pico HAT Hacker

The Pico HAT Hacker is an ultra-thin breakout board that gives you full access to all 40 GPIO pins on your Raspberry Pi. At just 0.8 mm thick, it solders directly onto the Pi's header pins while leaving enough pin height to fit a HAT or pHAT on top.

Both sides of the board feature pin labels — BCM pin numbering on one side and descriptive labels (I2C, UART, SPI, PWM, I2S) on the other. Solder it either way up depending on which labelling you prefer.

Tip: A 40-pin male header (2×20) is required for soldering onto the Pico HAT Hacker (not included). Use solder sparingly to avoid wicking up the pins, which can make fitting HATs on top difficult.
