Qwiic Button - Blue
The Qwiic Button takes the hassle out of button wiring — no debouncing, pull-up resistors, or polling needed. Simply connect it via Qwiic I²C and call button.isPressed() in your code. The built-in blue LED illuminates the button and can be configured for custom blink patterns.
Each button has a configurable I²C address, so you can daisy-chain multiple Qwiic Buttons and address each one individually. The onboard FIFO queue records when the button was pressed, letting you determine which button was pushed first without constant polling. Configurable interrupts can trigger on press or click events.
Key Features
- Qwiic I²C Interface – Plug-and-play, no soldering required
- Built-in Blue LED – Configurable brightness and blink patterns
- Hardware Debouncing – Clean button signals handled on-board
- Configurable I²C Address – Daisy-chain multiple buttons
- FIFO Queue – Records press timestamps for priority detection
- Configurable Interrupts – Trigger on button press or click events
Ideal For
- Interactive projects and game controllers
- Multi-button input panels over I²C
- Quiz buzzers and reaction-time games
- Any project needing a clean, debounced button input
