The RPLIDAR A3M1 is a 360° 2D LiDAR scanner from SLAMTEC capable of taking up to 16,000 laser ranging samples per second. It generates 2D point cloud data suitable for mapping, localisation, and environment modelling applications.
The A3M1 supports two operating modes: Enhanced Mode for maximum range (25 m) and sampling rate in indoor environments, and Outdoor Mode for reliable performance with resistance to direct sunlight interference. Scanning frequency is adjustable from 5–20 Hz, with a typical rate of 10 Hz (600 rpm).
