The SparkFun AST-CAN485 Wi-Fi Shield adds wireless communication to the AST-CAN485 Dev Board, enabling cable-free operation in industrial automation environments. It uses the Espressif ESP8266 for Wi-Fi connectivity and includes both a PCB trace antenna and a U.FL connector for external antennas when greater range is needed.
