SparkFun Lumenati 8-stick

The SparkFun Lumenati 8-stick is a compact LED board featuring eight APA102C addressable LEDs in a row. Designed for daisy-chaining with other Lumenati boards via castellated edge connectors, it makes it easy to create custom lighting layouts, outlines, and shapes for your projects.

Unlike WS2812B LEDs, the APA102C uses a 2-wire protocol (clock + data), making communication timing-independent. This means you can drive these LEDs directly from a Raspberry Pi or other single-board computer without additional hardware. Each LED is numbered on the board to simplify coding.
