The SparkFun MicroMod Single Pair Ethernet Kit demonstrates 10BASE-T1L two-wire Ethernet communication using the ADIN1110 transceiver within the MicroMod ecosystem. The kit includes everything needed to run a proof-of-concept example over 0.5 m of shielded cable, with the technology capable of reaching up to 1,700 m for remote monitoring applications.

10BASE-T1L Ethernet uses a single twisted pair for data transmission, reducing cable weight and improving connector integrity compared to traditional Ethernet. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.3cg standard and supports full-duplex 10 Mbps communication.
