SparkFun Temperature Sensor - STTS22H (Qwiic)
The SparkFun STTS22H is a Qwiic-enabled temperature sensor breakout based on ST Microelectronics' ultralow-power, high-accuracy digital temperature sensor. Factory calibrated to ±0.5°C accuracy without any application-level calibration needed, it's ideal for precision temperature monitoring.
The sensor supports multiple operating modes including freerun, one-shot, and low-ODR, with current consumption dropping to just 1.75µA in one-shot mode. Four configurable I2C addresses allow multiple sensors on a single bus, and a programmable interrupt pin signals when user-defined temperature thresholds are exceeded.
Key Features
- ±0.5°C Accuracy – Factory calibrated, no additional calibration needed (-10°C to +60°C)
- Ultralow Power – 1.75µA in one-shot mode
- Qwiic Connector – Plug-and-play I2C with no soldering
- Four I2C Addresses – 0x3C (default), 0x3E, 0x38, 0x3F via solder jumpers
- Programmable Interrupt – High/low temperature threshold alerts
- Multiple Operating Modes – Freerun, one-shot, and low-ODR for battery saving
- NIST Traceability – For calibration chain requirements
Specifications
- Operating Temperature – -40°C to +125°C
