SparkFun Transparent OLED HUD Breakout (Qwiic)
A transparent OLED heads-up display (HUD) breakout board with Qwiic connectivity. This see-through display panel is designed for vehicle HUD applications — brilliant in the dark and easily visible in daylight. The display features multi-coloured segments for a futuristic, area-coloured readout.
Controlled via I2C through SparkFun's Qwiic connector system, the breakout includes an onboard voltage step-up to generate the 12V panel driving voltage from the 3.3V Qwiic bus. An Arduino library makes it easy to update the display — functions like setSpeedometer() let you control the readout with minimal code. Standard 0.1" header pins are also broken out for breadboard use.
Key Features
- Transparent OLED Panel – See-through display, perfect for heads-up overlays
- Area-Coloured Segments – Multiple coloured zones on the display
- Qwiic I2C Interface – Plug-and-play connection with no soldering required
- Onboard 12V Step-Up – Generates panel voltage from 3.3V Qwiic bus
