SparkFun Triad Spectroscopy Sensor - AS7265x (Qwiic)
The SparkFun Triad Spectroscopy Sensor combines three AS7265x spectral sensors with onboard UV, visible, and IR LEDs to measure light across 18 individual frequencies — from 410 nm (UV) to 940 nm (IR). It brings light spectroscopy to the desktop, allowing you to measure and characterise how different materials absorb and reflect light.
The sensor communicates over I2C (Qwiic) by default or via serial at 115,200 bps with an AT command set. An Arduino library is available for easy integration, and the Qwiic connector provides solderless plug-and-play wiring. Standard 0.1" header pins are also broken out for breadboard use.
Key Features
- 18-Channel Spectral Measurement – 410 nm (UV) to 940 nm (IR)
- Three Sensor ICs – AS72651, AS72652, and AS72653 combined on one board
