SparkFun Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - MMA8452Q (Qwiic)
A Qwiic-enabled breakout board for the NXP MMA8452Q triple-axis accelerometer. This low-power, capacitive MEMS sensor provides 12-bit resolution acceleration data over I²C, with user-selectable full-scale ranges of ±2g, ±4g, or ±8g. Pre-soldered Qwiic connectors let you get started immediately — no soldering required.
The MMA8452Q includes embedded interrupt functions for motion detection, freefall, and orientation changes, allowing the host processor to sleep during inactivity for significant power savings. Standard 0.1″ header pins also break out ground, power, I²C, and two interrupt outputs.
