The SparkFun XBee Explorer Serial is an RS232 serial base unit for configuring and communicating with XBee modules. Compatible with all XBee modules including Series 1, Series 2.5, standard, and Pro versions. Simply plug in an XBee module, connect an RS232 cable, and gain direct access to the serial and programming pins.

Supports DTR communication for reprogramming and configuring XBee modules via Digi's XCTU software.
