SparkX SAMD21 Pro RF 1W
The SparkX SAMD21 Pro RF 1W is a LoRa development board combining the SAMD21 microcontroller (48MHz) with the Semtech SX1276 transceiver at a full 1W output power. This high-power configuration enables point-to-point communication of small data packets up to 9 miles using standard rubber-duck antennas.
Designed for IoT applications, the board supports both point-to-point radio and LoRaWAN networks such as The Things Network. The additional GPIO pins from the SAMD21 allow LoRaWAN signals to be permanently enabled, freeing up more pins for your sensors and actuators.
Key Features
- 1W LoRa Transmitter – Semtech SX1276 with up to 9-mile range using standard antennas
- SAMD21 Microcontroller – 48MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ with generous GPIO
- LoRaWAN Ready – LoRaWAN signals permanently enabled without sacrificing GPIO
- Point-to-Point Radio – Send and receive small data packets between nodes
- USB & Battery Power – Power via USB or battery with onboard charging IC
Ideal For
- Long-range IoT sensor networks
- Remote asset tracking and monitoring
- LoRaWAN applications with The Things Network
- Point-to-point radio communication projects
