USB-to-Serial Bridge - µUSB-PA5-II
The µUSB-PA5-II is a compact USB-to-serial TTL UART bridge based on the SiLabs CP2104 IC. It connects to a PC via a Mini-B USB connector and provides serial data at baud rates up to 3 Mbps with flow control support. The main 5-pin interface uses a standard 2.54 mm (0.1") pitch female header.
RX and TX signals are both 3.3 V and 5 V tolerant. Designed primarily for programming 4D Systems display modules, it is also useful as a general-purpose USB-to-serial adapter for any TTL UART device.
Key Features
- CP2104 USB-to-Serial Bridge – Reliable Silicon Labs IC
- Up to 3 Mbps – Multi-baud rate serial communication
- 3.3 V & 5 V Tolerant – Works with both logic levels
- Flow Control – Additional signal access beyond TX/RX
- 5-Pin Header – Standard 2.54 mm pitch female connector
- Mini-B USB – PC connection via USB Mini-B
Ideal For
- Programming 4D Systems display modules
- General-purpose USB-to-serial TTL conversion
- Microcontroller serial debugging
