Walabot Starter
The Walabot Starter is a small, programmable sensor that uses radio frequency (RF) technology to see through objects and detect changes in the environment. Its three-antenna array illuminates the area in front of it and analyses the returning signals, powered by a VYYR2401 A3 System-on-Chip integrated circuit.
By recording broadband signals from multiple transmit/receive antenna pairs, the Walabot reconstructs a three-dimensional image of its surroundings. Sequences of images enable detection of movement and changes — including breathing pattern detection. Connect it to a phone or computer via the included USB cable to start building your own sensing applications.
