A 3.5 mm (1/8") 4-pole TRRS audio plug with screw terminal connections — no soldering required. Use stranded or solid-core wire and a small screwdriver to create custom audio cables, breakouts, and test leads.

TRRS stands for Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve, providing four contacts: three signal lines and one ground. This connector type is commonly used in smartphones and headsets for stereo audio plus a microphone channel. On a Raspberry Pi, the extra contact carries composite video. The terminal block is labelled GND–Ring–Right–Left (Sleeve–Ring–Ring–Tip order). May come with nickel or gold-plated contacts.
