The Feather 32u4 Bluefruit LE combines an ATmega32u4 microcontroller with a Bluetooth Low Energy module, USB connectivity, and LiPo battery charging in one compact board. BLE is supported by all modern smartphones and tablets (iOS, Android, Mac OS X, Windows 8+), making it ideal for portable projects that communicate with a phone or tablet.

The Bluefruit module is built on the Nordic nRF51822 chipset and supports a standard UART data pipe for transparent serial communication, as well as advanced features like custom GATT services, HID keyboard emulation, and over-the-air firmware updates.
