Memory Metal Actuator - Dash4
The Dash4 is a compact shape memory metal actuator that uses shape memory alloy (SMA) technology — originally developed by NASA — to provide silent, lightweight linear actuation. It delivers a stroke of 0.23" (5.8 mm) with over 1.75 pounds of constant actuation force, all in a package less than 0.1" thick.
A built-in limit switch enables safe operation over a wide voltage range when paired with the MAD-v5 controller (sold separately), allowing you to tune actuation speed to your application.
