
SparkFun Papa Soundie Audio Player
The SparkFun Papa Soundie is an audio playback board built around the VS1000D codec IC, capable of decoding OGG Vorbis and WAV files from a micro-SD card. With a built-in ATmega328P (Arduino-compatible), it combines audio playback with sensor input and custom logic in a single board.
An upgraded version of the Little Soundie, the Papa Soundie supports up to 32 audio files on the micro-SD card and breaks out analogue, digital, SPI, and I²C pins for triggering playback from sensors and other inputs. Audio output is via a 3.5 mm jack to a powered speaker.
