The Sharp GP2Y0A21YK0F is an infrared distance sensor that measures distances from 10 cm to 80 cm by bouncing IR light off objects. It outputs an analogue voltage proportional to distance — approximately 3 V at 10 cm and 0.4 V at 80 cm — which can be read directly by an Arduino or other microcontroller's ADC input.
Includes a 30 cm (12") JST interface cable with three wires: red (5 V), black (GND), and white (analogue output).
